The sun came out long enough for me to take an outdoor photo of the completed Broadripples.
I enjoyed this pattern a lot, but the next time I make them it won't be with Fixation - too many knots! Good thing I have a huge stash of other sock yarn from which to choose. I'm also thinking of doing another pair of Cloverleafs/Cloverleaves. I'm liking these non-stockinette stitch socks!
I realized it's been a while since I've posted photos, so I have a few non-knitting ones to share. First, Bandit. As usual, the minute he sees the camera pointed at him, he goes into "don't take my picture" mode. I whistle, clap, and make all kinds of strange noises, but he will not look up. Sometimes I get lucky, but not today.
We both enjoyed sitting on the deck the short time the sun was out. Bandit loves finding the best patch of sunlight to curl up in, and today was no exception, even if it meant sitting in a puddle.
A couple of days ago, we noticed a fine crop of mushrooms around our yard. I counted four different varieties within about a ten square foot area. I had to hurry my photos because it was about to rain, and the next morning the yard guys came and mowed them all down.
If anyone knows what these are, let me know.
