Well, I was thinking of making a poncho. MagKnits Paris Loop looked like just the thing, but the yarn, Gedifra's Cicco, seemed to be discontinued. I finally tracked some down on e-bay, won the auction, and started knitting last night. Big, big mistake. While the yarn and pattern are wonderful, if I were to finish and actually try to wear this project, I'd look like I was being devoured by a big wooly beast - no wait, I'd LOOK like a big wooly beast. My bigger than lifesize frame is not built for this item. My loss, your gain. Anyone interested in making this, send me an e-mail and I'll give you a good deal on the yarn, and will throw in my copy of the pattern, thereby saving you having to print it out. Here's a photo of the yarn - I have seven skeins.

The colors are not as dark as this photo, but are a pretty shade of muted gray and mauve - more gray than mauve, however. It's light, fluffy, and perfect for someone not as upholstered as me.
Word of advice - put down your knitting and get thee to a movie theater, right now! You must, must, must see Shrek 2. Unlike most sequels, it's just as funny as the first one. After the boredom that was "Troy," this was a breath of fresh air. Go. Now. Thanks.

hey I was also wondering if you still have the yarn. Hopefully I am not too late!
Thanks
